Boustany MBA Cambridge Scholarship
1. Overview, Award Details, and Number of Recipients
The Boustany MBA Cambridge Scholarship is established for the one-year MBA program at Cambridge Judge Business School, awarded to one scholar every two years (biennially). The scholarship covers 75% of Cambridge MBA tuition fees plus travel and accommodation expenses for the accompanying internship. Additionally, scholars qualify for membership in the prestigious Pembroke College at Cambridge University.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To apply for this scholarship, candidates must first secure an admission offer from the Cambridge MBA program. Beyond this, applicants should demonstrate academic excellence, future potential, and notable career achievements.
3. Application Documents and Process
Applications are submitted directly to the Boustany Foundation via email after receiving acceptance to the MBA program. Required documents include:
・Resume (CV) with photo
・GMAT score
・Cambridge MBA acceptance letter
These documents should be emailed to the foundation's designated address. Candidates who pass the document screening will undergo one or more interviews with the foundation, with one scholar ultimately selected. Application deadlines are typically set for mid-May every other year, with the 2023 recruitment deadline on May 15. The next deadline (for 2026 entry) is set for May 15, 2026, with selection results announced in June of the same year. Due to this schedule, applicants need to secure MBA acceptance by at least Round 3 (around January) to allow time for the scholarship application.
Internship Details
Scholarship recipients are required to participate in a two-month internship at the foundation's office in Monaco following the completion of their MBA program. This internship is unpaid, but all travel, food, and accommodation expenses during this period are covered by the foundation. The starting date of the two-month period can be flexibly arranged through discussion between the scholar and the foundation. During the internship, scholars engage in activities such as:
・Raising awareness about the foundation
・Planning new scholarship programs
・Participating in projects that advance the foundation's mission
Specific project details are determined at the beginning of the internship, taking into consideration the scholar's interests.
Selection Points and Preparation Strategies
The scholarship selection places high importance on applicants' GMAT scores, academic records, career achievements, and leadership capabilities. The Boustany Foundation itself lists "excellent academic background and notable career success" as one of the conditions for scholars. Regarding GMAT scores, since the average score for Cambridge MBA entrants is approximately 680-690, it is advisable to aim for a score exceeding this range. Additionally, the following soft factors are likely given significant weight:

・Commitment to social contribution
Prepare to clearly articulate your strengths and post-MBA vision for the foundation's multiple interviews. Main Scholarship List
(1) Cambridge Judge Dean's Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement
This scholarship targets candidates with exceptional academic performance who have also made significant career impacts. It provides up to £15,000 (approximately $19,000) toward tuition fees and is awarded to about three recipients annually (one from each application round). Candidates are automatically considered based on their MBA application content, with early round applicants being eligible.
(2) Cambridge MBA Scholarship for Global Impact
A newly established scholarship for applicants with notable contributions to their communities, with priority given to candidates from countries currently underrepresented in the MBA class. Up to four recipients are selected across application rounds 1-4, with each receiving up to £45,000 (approximately $57,000) in support.
(3) Cambridge MBA Scholarship for Professional Diversity
Designed to enhance professional diversity in the MBA class, this scholarship targets outstanding candidates from specific industries. Up to five recipients annually receive tuition assistance of up to £32,000 (approximately $40,000) each.
(4) Cambridge MBA Scholarship for Entrepreneurs
For applicants with entrepreneurial experience (those who have founded companies or participated as founding members), this scholarship offers up to £15,000 (approximately $19,000) toward tuition fees. Three recipients are selected annually (one from each application round).
(5) Cambridge MBA Military Veterans Scholarship
This scholarship supports candidates with military service backgrounds, providing up to £15,000 (approximately $19,000) toward tuition fees, typically awarded to two recipients annually.
(6) Cambridge MBA Scholarship for Technology Advancement
Targeting professionals with experience in the technology sector (particularly those in innovation-related positions), this scholarship provides up to £15,000 (approximately $19,000) toward tuition fees for three recipients annually.
(7) Forté Foundation Fellowship
Supporting female MBA students, this scholarship provides tuition assistance of up to £32,000 (approximately $40,000) for up to five outstanding female candidates. In addition to financial aid, Forté Fellows gain access to career support resources, including events and networks hosted by the Forté Foundation.
(8) Cambridge MBA ROMBA Fellowship

Two recipients annually (one from rounds 1-2, one from rounds 3-4) receive up to £32,000 (approximately $40,000) in tuition support. (9) Cambridge MBA Professor Nick Oliver Scholarship
Available to MBA applicants with British nationality, this scholarship awards up to £15,000 (approximately $19,000) to one recipient. Eligibility requires only British citizenship, and candidates are automatically considered during the MBA application process.
(10) Cambridge MBA Professor Jochen Runde Scholarship
For MBA applicants with South African nationality, this scholarship provides up to £15,000 (approximately $19,000) to one recipient. Additionally, recipients benefit from mentorship by Professor Jochen Runde, a former MBA Director, throughout their studies.
(11) St Catharine's College Benavitch Scholarship
Offered by St Catharine's College at Cambridge University, this scholarship supports up to five outstanding MBA candidates with potential to become business leaders, awarding £10,000 (approximately $13,000) each. Strict eligibility requirements include First Class equivalent undergraduate performance (GPA 3.7+), GMAT score of 700+, and at least two years of work experience. Applicants must select St Catharine's as their preferred college and complete additional application procedures, including a short essay (typically due in February).
(12) Sidney Sussex Joyce Coutu Scholarship
Provided by Sidney Sussex College at Cambridge University, this scholarship awards £1,000 (approximately $1,300) annually to one outstanding female candidate from North America who aspires to entrepreneurship after completing the MBA. Recipients must choose Sidney Sussex as their assigned college and express interest in the scholarship after accepting admission (typically due mid-April).
(13) Sidney Sussex Hanadi Jabado Scholarship
Funded by the Hanadi Jabado Foundation at Sidney Sussex College, this scholarship provides £5,000 (approximately $6,300) to female MBA candidates from the Middle East and North Africa region (e.g., Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Turkey). Candidates must belong to Sidney Sussex College, select it as their preferred college after accepting admission, and submit a designated essay (typically due mid-April).
